Mr. Nithee Seeprae currently holds the position of Deputy Governor for Marketing Communications at the Tourism Authority of Thailand (TAT). In this role, he leads the organization’s global advertising and public relations efforts, focusing on promoting Thailand’s international image and championing sustainable tourism. His strategic leadership plays a critical role in reinforcing Thailand’s position as one of the world’s most attractive travel destinations.
Over the course of more than 20 years with TAT, Mr. Nithee has held several senior leadership roles that reflect his deep expertise and wide-ranging contributions to Thailand’s tourism development. In 2021, he was appointed Deputy Governor for Digitalisation, Research and Development, where he oversaw the agency’s transition into data-driven and tech-enabled tourism management. Prior to that, in 2020, he served as Executive Director of the Advertising and Public Relations Departments, managing integrated global marketing initiatives.
In 2018, Mr. Nithee became Executive Director of the Southern Market Division, overseeing tourism strategy and development for Southern Thailand, with a focus on regional promotion, product development, and community-based tourism. In 2016, he was named Executive Director of the Tourism Products Department, leading efforts to diversify Thailand’s tourism offerings and elevate the overall visitor experience. His international experience includes his role as Director of the TAT Jakarta Office beginning in 2010, where he helped expand Thailand’s tourism footprint in Southeast Asia.
Mr. Nithee holds a Master’s degree in Social Development from the National Institute of Development Administration (NIDA) and a Bachelor’s degree in Archaeology from Silpakorn University.
