Leyla R. Osorio is the CEO and Co-Founder of Global Cruises, a Miami-based company specializing in the development and operation of premium shore-excursion experiences worldwide. She is also the CEO of KUZÁ Beach & Adventure Park, a fast-growing destination theme park in Cozumel, Mexico, redefining the standard for destination development in the Caribbean.

Leyla holds an MBA from Northwestern University’s Kellogg School of Management and a degree in Political Science from Universidad de los Andes (Colombia).

Since founding Global Cruises in 2008, she has led the company’s expansion from a single-destination operator to a global platform serving more than 140 ports worldwide. Under her leadership, the company has achieved sustained double-digit growth and industry recognition, including being named Business of the Year (2025) and ranking as the third fastest-growing company in the region (2024) by the South Florida Business Journal.

Leyla has received numerous individual honors, including being recognized among the 2026 Businesswomen of the Year by the South Florida Business Journal, named one of the 2025 Top Women in Travel & Hospitality by the Women in Travel and Hospitality Association, and awarded the 2024 Travel and Tourism Leadership Award by Miami-Dade County and the South Florida Hispanic Chamber of Commerce (SFLHCC).

She has been featured in leading publications and industry forums, including the January 2025 issue of Travel + Leisure, where she shared her insights on crafting transformative shore experiences in Norway’s fjords.

Leyla resides in Miami with her husband, German, and their three children, Matilde, Alejandro, and Abril.
