Q: When and where is the event?

A: This year Skift Global Forum will take place on September 21-23 as an online event.

Q: What time will the live event begin?

A: Opening event will take place starting at 4 pm EDT on Sept. 21. The live event on Sept. 22 will begin at 8:30 am EDT. Please check your local time at Time Zone Converter

Q. Will the sessions be available on-demand? 

A: Yes, the sessions will be live in Eastern Daylight Time (EDT) and will be available on-demand the following day.

Q: Do I have to pay to watch it on-demand? 

A: Yes, only ticketed attendees will have access to the content, which will be available for three months.  

Q: I’m registered for the event, how do I access the platform?

A: If you are registered for the event, you should have received a confirmation email with login details. If you have not received an email, please contact us at

Q: What technical requirements are there for attending the online event?

A: The best way to participate is on a desktop or laptop computer using the latest version of Chrome and Firefox as your browser. Other browsers such as Safari, but some features will not be optimized.

Q: How will I view the sessions and network with other attendees?

A: All of our sessions will be viewable through our virtual event platform. Attendees will also be able to network on the platform which you will need a valid registration and login.

Q: What is the hashtag for the event?

Q: Do you offer any group discounts?

A: Yes, you can find group rate pricing here.

Q: I am a Skift Pro/Research subscriber, are there any discounts for tickets?

A: Skift Research subscribers at every level — personal, professional, and enterprise — get 25% off of the full price of registration. Email for your exclusive code.

Q: I originally registered for the 2020 in-person event, will I have access to the online event?

A: All attendees who have registered for the in-person event should have received communication from our team regarding access to the online event. If you have not received an email, please send us an email at and our team will follow up with you.

Q: Due to the time zone difference, we probably will not be able to participate live. Will there be anything that we will miss because of this? (Ex. Networking sessions, etc.)

A: If you choose the on-demand option you will still be able to network, but we cannot guarantee that other attendees will be available. You will also miss out on Q&As and polls during the sessions.

Q: What is your cancellation/refund policy?

A: All tickets are non-refundable, however, you can transfer your ticket to a colleague. If you need to transfer a ticket, please send an email to
