The Decade Ahead: 

Safeguarding Travel’s Future

The global Covid-19 crisis decimating the travel industry is presenting steep challenges for Europe, the world’s most strategic tourism destination and its unique tourism economies. As we enter a new phase of recovery planning, an urgent need exists for collaboration between leaders and a transparency of the best ideas in response to this staggering economic impact. 

With a goal of providing a rapid response and educational resource to the industry, Skift Forum Europe 2020 will now take place via an online video platform on June 30, featuring travel leaders sharing their lessons learned, strategic thinking, and perspectives on finding new growth.

With an eye on the future, our global theme for this forum will be: The Decade Ahead: Safeguarding Travel’s Future. As we examine travel in a “stay-at-home” world, it will be crucial for companies across all-sectors — including hospitality, tourism, OTAs, and aviation — to reimagine their businesses as we find a new normal. Skift Forums are known for bringing together the top CEOs and leaders -— the people creating and defining the future of travel — to our stage to discuss what’s next and how to drive the industry forward. In 2020, Skift Forum Europe will present frank conversations on what Europe needs now to find its path forward, rebuild its operations, and create resilience for the future.
