Founded in 2005, by Tom Marchant along with co-founders Matt Smith and James Merrett, Black Tomato has continued to exceeded 200% growth in sales YOY and is still independently owned and operated by the founders. Marchant is a pioneer in the travel industry, harnessing experiential travel for the sophisticated consumer since 2005. Tom and Black Tomato have dedicated the last 15 years to exploring new destinations for curious travelers and broadening the realm of possibility for those seeking unique and insightful experiences within cultures rather than cookie-cutter itineraries.
