Founder and CEO
Alyssa Ravasio is the founder and CEO of Hipcamp, a growing community of good-natured people and the most comprehensive resource for unique outdoor stays from national parks to blueberry farms. Hipcamp partners with private landowners to unlock more ways for people to get outside, while providing sustainable revenue to protect nature.
Alyssa is passionate about shaping the infinite ways the internet impacts humanity and the planet. After creating her own Digital Democracy major at UCLA, Alyssa went on to work for the US Department of State’s International Information and Communication Policy department where she was a member of the Net Freedom Task Force and worked on initiatives in cloud computing, internet policy, and the economic impact of internet censorship. Alyssa later held leadership positions in Operations and Marketing for various organizations before founding Hipcamp. Her deepest passion is helping shape how the internet impacts our humanity and our planet. Today, she is an active member of the Recreation Advisory Council and has grown Hipcamp into the largest online resource of one of the planet’s most plentiful resources—land.
