Kenny Jacobs is Chief Marketing Officer of Ryanair, Europe’s biggest airline and the world’s leading low-cost airline.
Kenny is a native of Cork and graduated from UCC in 1997 with a b.Comm in business and IT. Kenny began his career as a graduate in sales & marketing with Procter & Gamble in the UK. He then worked as a management consultant with Accenture and then joined Metro AG the International retailer based in Germany where he held several marketing and IT roles working across Europe and Asia.
Kenny then joined Tesco Ireland as marketing director in 2007 where he was responsible for all marketing and sales activities of the supermarket business and ran the tesco.com home shopping business. He then moved to Tesco PLC as group brand director where he ran all the communications and advertising for Tesco supermarkets, Tesco Bank, tesco.com and Tesco Mobile in the UK.
Kenny then became Chief Marketing Officer for Moneysupermarket plc. in the UK which has a set of digital brands saving consumers money on insurance, finance, energy and travel.
Kenny joined Ryanair in January 2014 as its first Chief Marketing Officer and he is responsible for communications, marketing, digital and customer service. He is also responsible for leading the ‘Always Getting Better’ customer programme.
Ryanair DAC, is Europe’s largest airline with over 400 aircraft and 129m customers this year.
