Research Director, Skift
Luke is an all-around seasoned analyst and expert on the topic of technology adoption as it relates to online distribution in travel. He has written volumes of reports and opinion pieces on the future of travel in the context of markets, tech evolution, and brand competitiveness. Prior to Skift, Luke worked with Phocuswright as their research director responsible for Europe and Latin America. He has presented his findings to global audiences at the Phocuswright Europe conference, WTM London, WTM Latin America and other events. Luke also has years of cross-industry expertise working in economic development consulting out of Chicago, and supply chain consulting out London and Barcelona. He has a degree in Spanish and a Master’s in Urban and Regional Planning from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. Luke speaks fluent Spanish, Polish, and has a decent command of Portuguese.
